Co-Journeying

Beyond Mentoring.
More Than Coaching.

Ancient wisdom teaches us:

‘If you want to go fast, walk alone.

If you want to go far, walk together.’

Modern wisdom shows us:

A Mentor guides the path.

A Coach facilitates the way.

A Co-Journeyer walks with you, every mile,

Making the journey itself the destination.

Co-journeying is a unique approach to personal and professional growth, where authentic presence meets mutual learning.

Co-journeying is a shared growth journey between equals, where one (the co-journeyer) walks alongside another (the journeyer), to support, guide, and facilitate their personal development. It is an approach of facilitating one’s journey, through walking with them with genuine care, deep listening, without judgment, mutual learning, and shared growth.

Co-Journeying

The Co-Journeyer

The Co-Journeyer

A Co-Journeyer like a mentor shares wisdom, like a coach asks powerful questions, and like a trusted companion accompanies the journeyer, to support and serve to their life achievements. Metaphorically is a mirror, a candle, a floaty, and a time capsule.

The Journey

The Journey

The Journey is what happens in life between birth and death.
We are here to make the best of it.

Meet Shirli,
the Co-Journeyer

“The essence of life is what happens between birth and death.

We better make the best of it.”

– Dr. Shirli Ender-Buyukbay

I’ve always identified myself as a journeyer and a Co-Journeyer, accompanying other Journeyers like me, supporting them through their path. I was aware of my indispensable value, as well as theirs, in paving the roads through my path. Despite finding deep meaning, I had been taking up the Co-Journeyer’s role without notice or a purposeful intention.

Today, with the maturity and expertise of professional, academic and practical foundation, I am the Co-Journeyer, of and for anyone wishing to outgrow.

What Journeyers say about their
Co-Journeying experience with Shirli

Shirli has this amazing way of walking alongside you, not leading or showing you the path, but escorting you as you explore your own journey. It’s not just about receiving advice; it’s about building a path together, step by step, and feeling supported and held by the hand every inch of the way. She brings insight, warmth, and a genuine sense of partnership and energy that’s rare to find.

Starting in October 2022, Shirli became a part of my life, supporting me through many challenges. Every Thursday—either in person in Barcelona or over Zoom—our meetings became my safe space. Looking back on this journey, it’s been a steady source of strength, helping me through big life changes and personal challenges.

Shirli is a fantastic mentor and coach for professional development. She perfectly knew when she needed to challenge me to move out of my comfort zone no matter how complex the situation was.

There are some people who, the moment they enter your life, shine a light, raise your energy, make you feel good and mirror. In a period of 6 months, She helped me to recognize my shortcomings; the aspects I need to improve. She made me look through other perspectives when was blocked, she emphasized the importance of active patience. I love this woman, who made me know myself better and made me feel more beautiful.
